This New 2 storey Custom Home from Ewald Homes is absolutely stunning! Our clients mad all of their selections on their own with quality in mind. This client started out selecting nothing less than the World's finest Hardwood Flooring from Mirage. Mirage Flair 6.5" wide White Oak Mist is one of the newest options from Mirage and with the new Mirage DuraMatt Finish, clients get the look of a naturally oiled floor, with the extreme Mirage quality finish advantage.
Our client really wanted the Back Entrance/Mud and Powder Room to stand out and managed to achieve this by selecting Unicom Starker's Seamless Decor #CL04.
It was also imperative that the laundry room tile standout, but at the same time correspond with the design flow of the house.
Our clients found precisely what they were looking for in the blue toned Reverie #12 tile & it looks incredible!

The upper level custom vanity is blue in colour, so it was important to our clients that the floor in this bathroom was slightly toned down from that of the tiles in the back entrance, powder & laundry room, that being said the Olympia Tile White Hex provides a very unique subtle look that corresponds with the custom vanity and the entire interior design scheme that our clients were looking for.

During the custom home building process of a new home, the custom shower and en-suite is often the most popular decision. In this case our client found precisely what they were looking for with the Anitolia Tile Mayfair collection. The Mayfair Collection is a polished marble replica available in many sizes, our client chose an enormous 24"x48" tile for the en-suite floor with a corresponding 4"x12" tile on the shower walls & ceiling. The shower floor is a point of interest, again using the Mayfair collection, our client chose the corresponding 1" hex and once again she chose spectacular.

The spectacular "look" of this project is not where it ends, both Owen Flooring and Ewald Homes believe in quality without compromise and that is why we specify Schluter Systems under all of our showers and floor tile, this particular project has Ditra Heat in the en-suite bath. The mortar used under the tile is the best mortar the World has to offer with Germany's own Kiesel Servioflex Trio along with the best grout with Kiesel's Servopearl Royal . The hardwood was installed with a nail and glue assisted installation method to prevent squeaks and movement.
